I had the privilege of taking the CELTA in-person @CELT Athens and I can say it exceeded all my expectations. The course was very organised by both tutors and staff of the school, and we were thus, the trainees, focused on our aim; this includes the everyday inputs from our tutors, teaching practices, observations of other teachers and the written assignments. The course covered a wide range of teaching techniques, language skills and classroom management strategies thanks to the skilled tutors/experts on the topic and of course to the learning environment of the CELT Athens centre; the modern facilities and resources there have been very helpful for us the trainees.
My tutors, Sarah, Ceri, Marisa, and Paul were all incredibly supportive and friendly throughout the course and made an indelible contribution to my experience as a teacher-in-training and to this journey! My colleagues and I are more confident now in the ELT industry, and we are equipped with knowledge and practice that will help us become fully-fledged English teachers thanks to our tutors’ expertise in teaching other teachers & trainees.
I cannot recommend this CELTA experience enough; despite its intensity, both school and tutors have ensured that we receive support on a daily basis, so I confidently rate this course & centre with 5 stars!

I am grateful I had the opportunity to have wonderful tutors that helped me achieve my goals. Marisa, Paul, and Niamh were very understanding and worked towards helping each trainee in the best way possible. They went out of their way in order to help us and answer all our questions. I am very grateful for the care and hard work they put into the course, and I look up to their professionalism. The CELTA experience has given me insight and I now feel like a more confident teacher. I feel like I have learnt so many things, all thanks to the brilliant tutors.

For me CELT Athens is a remarkable and unique addition to my academic life. In the beginning of the course, I found it a little bit hard but after a while it became easier to ‘digest’ and assimilate new ideas. I also love the administration of the institute and I will never forget their ‘fingerprint’ on my pedagogical journey, especially Marisa & Paul, those wonderful people working in the background. Also, sending my gratitude and unlimited thanks to my second stage tutor Mr. Mohammady who was so very generous in giving both knowledge and support. I will keep all of them in my heart.
CELTA is the best course I have ever had as it refined my considerable teaching experience and helped me by learning new methods and techniques. The CELTA course was an amazing experience! It gave me the opportunity to explore the best teaching aspects of myself. I enjoyed the whole process, and I learned how to create really wonderful lessons. The tutors were really helpful by providing precise feedback that helped us to become professionals. The CELTA course was an eye-opening experience but, undeniably, the DELTA was much more than that! I have learnt to reflect and develop and now my online and offline classes are way better than they used to be; my evaluation forms have confirmed it. Marisa is the most eloquent teacher that I have met, and like Sylvie from “Emily in Paris”, she is strict but always right! Angelos is so patient that you can do nothing but admire him! I wish I had plugged up the courage to do the course years ago!
I had the most amazing learning journey completing this course . It was definitely worth the time and effort I put into it, as I feel I have been equipped with the necessary skills to move onto my teaching career . My tutors were tough but amazing! Without their support I could not have completed the course. I made new teaching colleagues and I look forward to continuing my learning journey with my CELTA.
CELTA was a great experience! I never thought that it is possible to learn so much in 5 weeks, but it is. The course gave me the knowledge and the confidence to start my teaching career. I implement lots of things from the course, sometimes without even noticing it! The CELTA course was intense, intensive, overwhelming, exhausting, but extremely rewarding. I am glad that I got a chance to get that experience, and to start my professional development with the lovely tutors of CELT Athens.
DELTA is an infamously hard course to pass so I personally would like to thank my great tutors Marisa and Angelos who were fantastic in delivering input and providing us with a great support framework during this course!
I highly recommend taking Module 1 or all three modules at CELT as they are both very competent and knowledgeable about how to pass the DELTA!
I would like to express my appreciation to my lovely tutors, Marisa and Angelos, and my supportive colleagues for creating a friendly environment during the course. Taking all three modules of Delta with CELT Athens is one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. The first and foremost reason is the trainers who are all highly experienced and supportive, the competitive tuition which is lower than that of other Cambridge centers I know. The final reason is their free extra services, such as the free Teaching Languages Online course and a great virtual collection of online resources!
I have attended courses at other centers but CELT Athens is, by far, the best. They supported me at each stage and provided me with excellent feedback, wonderfully interactive input sessions and access to great libraries and padlets rich in resources for my Module 2 assignment research. DELTA module 1 was thorough and rewarding. All in all, I believe that CELT Athens is your best choice for your DELTA.
DELTA seemed to be challenging for me, a Japanese, but I was able to complete the course smoothly thanks to all the tutors’ guidance with enthusiasm and my classmates’ support. The course gave me the opportunity to improve my teaching skills through different perspectives. I would like to express my sincere gratitude.
CELT has knowledgeable and supportive tutors. They helped me at every stage of the course. Although the course was entirely online, I felt so comfortable as if it was face to face. Strong relationships were formed among the trainees and that was great. I met people from literally all over the world which broadened my horizons. Such a great course for Personal Development!
